Team Reaching Heights is in need of a 10th crew member for the 2009 Race Across America, which travels from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD late this month. Please review the info below and pass it along to whomever you think may be an appropriate and interested candidate.

Team members all need to be in Southern California June 18th +/- a day. The solo racers start on June 19th but the teams, including ours, do not start racing until June 20th. The commitment ends at the end of June but maybe as late as July 1st which, of course, is dependent upon how well the race goes for our two guys. The team composition is made up of two racers and ten crew members, which will be split up between two vans and one motor home.  The cyclists on Team Reaching Heights are Richard Waugh, a Cleveland Orchestra Violist who lives in Cleveland Heights and his friend, Charlie Combs, who lives in San Diego, CA. All airfare, food and lodging will be paid for by the team but each team member’s time is fully a volunteer effort.

Thanks,

Jim Karlovec, Crew Chief
Team Reaching Heights
