The short story as I understand it is that after years of disorganization some good people finally banded together and formed a USCF sanctioned cycling association for Ohio .
Tyler did not play by their rules and so his races were not permitted by the OCA and USCF. Out of solidarity many teams have implicitly or explicitly boycotted these races and due to the lack of solid fields others have shown little interest.
Inquiries, comments and concerns should be directed to the OCA.

Subject: [columbuscross] Tyler's races
Does anyone do Tym Tyler's races anymore?
I'd like to race at Granville this weekend, but not if only 12 people show up.
How many people went to Wilkesville?
