If you have received this e-mail it is because I have talked to you about 'cross in some form or another and you live in/near columbus. I thought it would be useful to get a list of people together to organize local practices and perhaps organize carpools to races. I know I don't have e-mail addresses for a few people who would be interested, so please forward this e-mail to anyone I may have missed and have them e-mail me at sikdar.2@.... If anyone would like me to remove them from this list, please let me know.
I will be heading to the Grandview Area park around 6pm tonight if anyone would like to join. We should have four cones and two adjustable barriers that are UCI regulation and can be lowered to something like 8 inches. So, they're great for newbies. If anyone else has cones, please bring them and we could potentially setup a small course.
Hopefully, there will be a good mix of experienced and new riders and we can have informal technique practices, etc. The season starts in less than 2 weeks, so bring your friends, mountain/road/cross/commuter/whatever you want to ride, cowbells, lights, food, etc. If you have any questions, shoot me an e-mail or you can call me on my cell phone. It would be great to see some new riders out there, so spread the word!
Thanks,
Kieran

any thoughts on a cross practice tonight? i think a couple good hours
would be great.
we should set up a small course and do 10-minute temp intervals on it
as well as skills stuff, starts, etc.
