Thanks to those who have responded to John Archer regarding the boys
volleyball open gyms next week. We're looking forward to a good turnout and
possibly forming a boys 14U team for this club season. We appreciate the
efforts of those on the list to get the word out and reach more boys with
this great sport.

We're just a few days from the first open gym next Tuesday at 6:30PM.
Remember that with Open Gyms, you don't have to attend every one and there
is no up-front commitment but it would sure help the organizers if we could
call or email them to let them know that we're interested in attending at
least some of the sessions.

I realize that the boys do have other sports going on right now. My son is
in two other sports but it has been organized to be later than most after
school practices and it's going to be a lot of fun. If your son would like
to participate but transportation is an issue, give us a call and we'll try
to connect you with a ridepool from another parent. The gym is close to Park
Meadows mall so during open gym you can go have a quiet dinner or get your
early Christmas shopping done.
Now how much would you pay???? -- it's still only five bucks... a bargain.

So this is just a reminder that if you're thinking about coming, please call

838-9519. It's also a reminder that if you know of any 'little brothers'
who are in grades 5-8 who might like to try volleyball, get the word to
them.
