The Games of the XXVIII Olympiad in Athens, Greece have begun!
NBC will feature the Opening Ceremony on Friday, Aug. 13, at 8 p.m. ET/PT

The television broadcasts of the Summer Games will consist of 1,210 hours
of coverage -- nearly three-times the 441.5 hours from Sydney in 2000
and more than seven-times the 171.5 hours from Atlanta in 1996
