I just wanted to let you all know of some upcoming tournaments. I
have recently been in contact with Kim up in Durango and she has
confirmed that they will be hositng their "Whitewater" tournament on
May 22nd and 23rd. Divisions will be men and women on Saturday, A
which is very competitive and will be played on sand (certainly in the
men's division, possibly in the women's; other divisions are grass),
BB which is competitive and B which is recreational. There will also
be boys and girls divisions for ages 10-14 and 15-18. Sunday will be
co-ed with the same divisions, including the youth ones.
There is also talk of a likely tournament June 12th in Los Lunas, NM.
This will also be a sand/ grass event.

We've posted a new Yahoo group that is more specifically geared
towards outdoor tournaments in the Southwest and Rocky Mountain region
and is intended to be complementary to this group, not in competition

The flyers and application forms (which need to be submitted pretty
soon)for the Durango tournament are posted in the "file" section, as
well as a listing of tournaments in AZ, NM, and CO.
