Hello Everyone!
I will finally be able to attend an IDPA (after a very looooong year
of absense). I am really excited so I hope the weather does it's part
because it would break my heart to hear that this match had to be
cancelled due to bad weather.
In any case... I need to ask for a HUGE favor! I have two new
victims... err, I mean shooters that will be joining me this Saturday
in Clear Creek. They both have shot pistols extensively but none of
them has ever shot IDPA. I am hoping that some noble soul can join us
before the match so they can teach them the fundamentals of this
sport. I have discussed with them the safety rules and the range
commands but I am no SO.
We are planning on being at the range at 7:30am on Saturday and hope
that someone can give them proper instruction before the match so they
can shoot it. We could also get there earlier if we need to.
Thanks!!

Sunday, Oct. 15, there will be a 6 stage match down at Pueblo West.
We'll also be having a shotgun side match; bring at least 10 slugs
along with a bunch of birdshot.
Come out to help set up; setup begins around 7am.
Shooters' meeting at 9:45am.
Match starts at 10am.
Hope to see you there!
Tim Cannon
Okay here's my excuse - I was in Huntsville, AL all
last week and all this coming week teaching Rocket
Scientists common sense.

With the weather cooling off, Pueblo West matches will be starting at
the normal time again which is 10:00am. This is effective for this
Sunday's match (9/17).
Shooters' meeting at 9:45am.
Setup starts around 6:30; first five people to arrive for setup get
$5.00 off their match fee!
Hope to see you Sunday!!

OOOPS!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't get this one in time
Doesn't matter to me. Personally I don't care about Classification.
As the stats geek for Clear Creek IDPA, I will follow the majority
rule on this, although it will make for some really small groups if we
include class and division (25 people shooting, 5 divisions, 5
classes....you do the math as to how many people are going to be in
each category. Not many). Will go with the flow.

Hi Mick,
Is there a way to get rid of the automatic email
message that goes out before every match? I asked Tom
about it and he said he sent you all the info, access
codes and whatever. Those messages usually cause
confusion, like this week, when we cancel and then the
message goes out and it looks like the match is on
again! I guess we had a reason for them originally,
but with your nice new web site, not so much anymore.
If you don't have the info, there is a CD in the money
box that Tom gave me to give to you and maybe that
will have the info on it. Remind me to get it to you
at the next match!! I keep forgetting.
Cheers,
Susan

Will we shoot at Pueblo this weekend? I have a new guy expressing interest in checking things out. We may need to do some shopping if the range will be open for IDPA, so I am just trying to plan ahead a little...

you exit at #235--Dumont and go to the stop sign. Turn left and
cross over I-70 and follow the road back east (left) for
approximately 1 1/2 miles until you get to the range. If you are
heading east on I-70 it is more complicated as you do not have an
exit 235. You exit on #234 and follow the frontage road heading west
to the same stop sign, only from the other side, turn right and
crossover I-70 and follow the road east to the range.

Hey Susan,
I was looking at a supplier for my 40 brass and noticed they have 10mm
and 10mm mag brass for what looks to be a good price.
500 for $68.25 1000/$116.00. How does this compare to what you are
getting now?
http://www.starlinebrass.com/
The 40 S&W is $64/500 or $108/1000

Could this be a case of stolen paint theme's......
Go see the shocking picture in the Photos area here.
Did Susan "borrow" her AR-15's paint scheme from this guy? Or is she
the victim of paint scheme theft? OR is she really an under cover
painter, turning out purple/pink/white camouflage paint jobs?
Sorry Susan, I just had to do this. I was driving home in traffic on I-
25 yesterday, feeling a bit board (Obviously) when I saw this guy. I
just couldn't help myself, don't shoot me.....
