I was wondering how many ladies are in the group (rough estimate).
Here is why.
I found out that one of my wife's friends carries at the request of
her husband (so I don't feel so strange about asking my wife to do
it). We're talking a real southern bell, it's pretty neat.

Anyway, I really want to get my wife to carry as well, but need some
extra ammo - per se. She is a housecall vet and has to go to some
pretty bad neighborhoods and apt. complexes. But, I'm afraid she
might have issues with being "one of only a few women" to
compete/carry. It stems back to some bad stuff in Highschool.
I'm really at a loss as how to go about getting her shooting,
certified to carry and in the IDPA shoots.

I have my 11 yr old daughter shooting a LR22 bolt action rifle (and
loving it) and my 6 yr old duaghter shooting an air rifle. So, I'm
hoping the girls can get their mom to try it.....

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I think I need to get her
shooting before I broach the carry subject.
