Scott's right. The Big Ten sends so many schools to
the big Dance because the whip up on the rest of the
country during the year. They do not schedule cushy
preseason games like Georgetown used to do under
Thompson. And if you drop Indiana from the list, the
Big Ten's Post Season record rocks. Oh, one more
thing... GO Hawkeyes!

Just reviewed the coaches preseaon poll. Naturally the power conferences, Big 10, Big 12, Big East,&,not to forget the ACC, dominate the rankings as they did...

I don't really think these coaches that vote have a clue. Have you looked at the list of schools these coaches are from? Most are small D-1 or mid-majors, ...

naturally. preseason polls have less validity than in season polls simply because of their nature. no one has played anyone, so they are even more of a guess....
