Jerry,
In your host site information, why is villanova listed as a host team in philly
along with saint joseph's (pa)? I thought sjuofpa was the host site, and nova
played few enough games at the wachovia to be eligible to play there first
weekend?
Thanks

Because when the bracket was done, Providence was only three games over in
the league and hadn't beaten anyone competent all year. ND and Georgetown
were only one game under.
But, in general, no conference's standings are less meaningful than the Big
East's, even in March, because of wildly unbalanced schedules. Also, in
general, January conference standings are not particularly useful because
not enough games have been played.

Jerry ,
How come you have two teams under .500 in the Big East at 3-5 ( Notre
Dame and Georgetown ) but you don't have a team over that is 4 games
over .500 ( Providence ) in your Brackett ?
