Tradition is great, I think it is part of what makes CFB so great. Tradition
should NOT be tossed out arbitrarily and as far as Im concerend there is
nothing like the Rose Bowl on 1/1. But things change and Im not against it.
What Im against is when the so-called MNC game is elsewhere it would be nice
to keep as much of the traditions in place. Believe it or not Id prefer a 4
or 8 team playoff to what we have now. If it could be done and allow the
major bowls to remain intact that is. A playoff would have no impact on the
plethora of other bowls, which i also enjoy watching. LSU vs Iowa, Wisky vs
UGA...great games last year, the Holiday is usually a great game, many good
football games that would still exist even with a 4 or 8 team playoff. If we
ever want the MNC to become real and called the true NC it has to happen on
the field and not as a result of polls, votes and computers.
