Not sure but my take is he is referring to the fact that depite the hype
some of the luster was off the B12 last year. The B12 North was a disaster
last year and OU got destroyed by his Trojans. As we have learned, relative
conference strength is cyclical and varies year to year. But when you win
the MNC game by 40 or so and back-to-back MNCs I think you are entitled to a
little hyperbole and chest thumping..... til the next season starts anyway.
