2nd Round Doubles on Quaker's Challenge Course
Costumes are optional during 2nd round at QC
2nd round doubles are paired according to 1st round scores

If you don't show for this fun event, the ghostly disc gods may haunt
your game til next year! Things start dying in the woods this time of
year. Let's hope it's not YOUR game!
Sufficient response Jay. And I do blame the Zinns. For everything.
Global warming, rising gas prices, the economic crisis, the fact that
I can't throw a decent forehand...everything.
The mando does indeed make the tee shot a difficult one, and I agree,
it would otherwise probably be a pretty routine hyzer drive. That was
the only hole I've not played from the long tee (since the basket was
moved) and perhaps my lack of practice lead to the fall apart.
I guess I need to practice. That or cheat, like the Zinns. I don't
know how they do it, but they have to be cheating somehow...
And I'm always down to help wherever I can, you know that!

Hey... thanks for coming and also helping out with the raffle.... greatly

The BLUE 8 MANDO.... was originially put there because of the picnic area...

Its those dam zinn boys that keep getting 2's and easy 3's on these holes that
makes me creatively make them more challenging..

As always, the COD crew put on a great event. Many thanks to Jay.,
Tim, Bill, The Lovely Ladies, and those Damn Zinns for pitching in. I
am always excited to play at Codorus. The course looked and played
great! Lots of hard work out there and it showed.
We all play the same course, and I enjoy playing the long tees. Makes
you play more golf, not drive and putt. Who doesn't love a challenge?
Jay.- what's the deal with the mando on 8 Blue? It makes perfect sense
from the short tee, but from the long, it turns the drive in to a lay
up. Never mind the fact that I completely lost it on that hole, the
mando seems odd to me. Maybe having a long tee mando on the bigger
tree higher up in the fairway would make sense?
Regardless, great event, course looked great, can't wait to come back.
Thanks to all who helped make this a GREAT event.... Stacy and I had a blast, it
was her first time playing at the Cod and now she can't wait to get back for the
North Vs. South!!
Personally, as an Adv Am I loved playing the pro tees. The courses dominated me
the first round, which let that Hummel boy (Jason) take the lead on me in the
Series but I came back on em a little in the second round...... I hope you
decide to play pro tees for us again.
Thanks again for a great time
Matt

it looks like you will have a good day Saturday. I was out on a trash run a few

Hey all..
Took some pre-reg over the weekend as a few played the tournament
layout.
RED 70 & Blue 68 for a 138 was the best score posted for the day...
and it will certainly go 1/2 dozen or more strokes lower come
tournament day on Saturday.
RED 12 to 13 will probably be 20 to 30 feet narrower with the OB line
to keep people away from the freshly sown grass seed and straw cover.
3x MINI WORLD CHAMPION - Lincoln Morgan will most likely be running a
MINI event after the tourney, so be prepared to jump into that fun
event also.
ADV AMS will be playing the PRO TEES... NOT ADV Masters or GM's...
PLEASE list your correct full name on the scoreport card... PLEASE do
not put your "Nickname"...
... any questions... feel free to contact me. jdot1955@...

Hey everyone,
Will there be anybody interested in a little mini disc golf the
day of the tourney. We can play for $5.00 a head and play 18 to 27
holes of mini. We could play 18 holes during lunch and have the final
9 before awards are given or something. I will be more than happy to
coordinate everything that day. I just don't see how we can all come
to The Cod and not play mini on the first public mini disc golf
course in the world. It's a great layout and FUN! Who knows somebody
might even beat the 3 time World Mini Champ. Could happen.

Starting times 10:00 to 10:30. When u get there w/ a 3some or 4some
you can head out.
All,
I managed to lose a rather treasured (gift) disc on Blue #7 today, on
the right side near a large clump of short trees/tree-like bushes.
(Yes, same hole that I found a light yellow Valk'.)
It's a Quest AT "Raging Inferno DT", dark blue/red lettering, Quest's
golfball dimpling on the underside edge, VERY light - no mistaking it
for another disc!
It _does_ have my name, e-mail address and I think my home number on
the back along with a mention of a reward for it's safe return. It's
one of my two favorite drivers + a gift to me, hence the reward.
Many thanks,
Joe
P.S. Feel free to toss it a few times if you like, it's a great disc -
I'd dump all my plastic for Quests if I had the $$. Just be nice to
it(SOFT plastic) and return to it's owner. "Found Disc" box at the
bulletin board is okay too.
All,
Found a pale yellow 172g Valkyrie on the right side of Blue #7 today.
No markings, looked new - no scratches/dents/divots. Shadowed "ET" and
"ox" looked like it was molded into the disc.
Don't forget! Put your name & e-mail address on any disc you want a
chance at returning to you, in the event it's lost!! I put this
pristine Valk' in the Found Disc slot at the course bulletin board. I
would have e-mailed the owner if it had an e-address.
Have fun,
Joe
hey all.. my intention on this series was to promote participation at other
local tourneys.... to have a PRO MALE & FEMALE / AM MALE & FEMALE / AND junior.
The divisions played don't matter as long as the Tee positions were the same.
Next year could see some tweaking - if someone would like to reorganize...
There are some tight races with PLENTY of holes left to play : ).

I was wondering if this was only open pro or all pros'? Because if so I
believe I have scores of 141-106-118- 265 if they do.
Thank you,

I haven't checked on the Whispering Falls participants yet, but Jesse "Yes I AM
a BAGGER" Fields has been playing as an Intermediate AM(MA2). I will verify all
participants and scores against the PDGA tour records and get back to ya.

very cool. Having grown up in Lancaster county...I would love to play this.
However, being 3000 miles away doesn't work. Is this just a once a year type
thing?

It has obviously been too long since I've been to Codorus. Today was
the first time I've played the new Blue 8 position. Very nasty.
Every time I play at the Cod I'm reminded of what drew me to disc golf
and everything I love about it now.
Jay. you are my hero! I hope Bill and the Zinns didn't drink your
share of your Harvest winnings before the saw you!
