This past weekend Codorus State Park had its Summer Blast and this year we were
there to promote disc golf & the Cod. Zak Cornbower and John Stump talked for
hours about the sport to many new people & families. The area that the manager
of the park (Warren Wentzs)gave us was a great spot, we were right there in the
mix of things. With 6 portable baskets and a bag full of putters and sharks we
gave people the chance to see and play the sport. We answered questions and did
some demonstrations. There were 2 long baskets that we could also show off some
skill levels. We pointed some out of townees to the local courses like B.W.C.C &
Creekside.

This was a Blast...

This will be something that we hope will be at future summer blasts at the park.
We might even see some new faces at our Wednesday night rounds, that start at 6
pm at the blue lot.
