Fritz,

Welcome! :)

The park has two 18 hole courses and two 9 hole courses + the mini
course. With 54 holes, your best bet is to get the map from the Files
section. It's called "Copy of CodorusMapColor.pdf". My personal
feeling is the order of courses in increasing difficulty are: Blue,
Red, X-holes, Cross Country. The separate 9 hole "X-holes" and "Cross
Country holes" give us flexibility in designing layouts for
tournaments. You're welcome to cut from Blue #12 to the X-Hole course
before returning to Blue #13-18. The Cross Country course starts near
the tees for the Red course.

There are a few minor exceptions to the map, nothing tough:
- The basket for Red #6 is on top of the hill near the Outlook
Building, not along the edge of the lake. You will see it as you walk
up the same hill to the tee for Red #5. The photo on the group's
homepage is taken from Red #5 looking downward towards it's basket
just to the right.
- Blue #1 has two baskets. Generally, Ams and Rec.s play to the nearer
basket. Pros play to the further basket. This is the only hole with
two baskets.
- Note that as you start the Blue course, you will see 2 baskets on
your right. The closer is for Blue #6, the further for Blue #3. Keep
that in mind when you play Blue #6 because you will see the basket for
Blue #3 first.
- It's noted on the map but it's worth...uh...noting. Red #14 has a
double mando - you need to throw through the trees, between the orange
crane silhouettes.

Check the bottom of each basket for an arrow pointing to the next tee.
Keep your eyes open for gopher holes - some areas are worse than
others. It's not a "huge" issue but with falling leaves, any abandoned
holes are hard to see. Of course, keep your eyes open for hikers or
picnicers. The grounds crew does a super job of keeping the grass cut
and moving picnic tables which have "wandered" too close to the
baskets (thanks to picnicers who move them) but better safe than sorry.

Also, we've got new Rec. (Recreational/newbie) tees on the Red course.
They're placed within sight of the Pro & Am tees, beside a tree or
large bush. If you have a sharp eye, you might spot the 2 bright pink
tapes marking the Rec. tees on the "X-hole" course. Tee markers are
bright yellow tapes, again by a tree or large bush. If you're a
Rec./newbie, we'd love to know how your score on the Rec. tees. We're
trying to get an idea of how the scores compare with the Pro & Am players.

I'm not aware of any photo albums and I don't honestly know if they'd
be any use. There are times when the tees and/or baskets are moved but
not too much anymore. Every tee has a marker if that's any help. Most
but not all holes have separate Pro and Am tees.

A _tremendous_ amount of thought has gone into the placement of each
tee & basket. I think you will find it's easy to get around, even on
your first visit. The map will do the most good. :)

Have fun,
Joe Krepps
P.S. "Fritz", "Accounting"??? Paul, is that you??
