Jerry,
There are 54 holes of regular disc golf + 18 holes of mini-disc golf
at Codorus. The regular DG holes are divided into 18 Blue, 18 Red, 9
"X-Holes" and 9 "Cross Country Holes" (that's also listing them in
order of 'relative' difficulty). Four different "courses" allows
flexibility in planning tournaments. There was talk, at one time, of
reorganizing the 54 into 3 courses but that's pretty much gone by the
wayside. It also allows more experienced players to divert if they
find themselves behind a large slow moving group.
A map of the couse, "Copy of CodorusMapColor.pdf" is in the Files
section. The basket for Red #6 has recently been moved to the top of
the hill (not too far from #5's tee) so keep that in mind if your're
following the map. There's a scorecard there too but I've never looked
at it so I can't say that all 54 are on it - THAT would be a "big"
scorecard! :)
Note there are two baskets for Blue #1. Also, all of the Blue course +
the X-Holes have new Rec. tees. The ones on the X-holes might be tough
to find - look for a pair of very low stakes with pink ribbons (front
of tee box) near a single stake with a yellow ribbon (marker for tee
post). The regular tee boxes for those holes are well marked. Check
the indicator hanging on the bottom of each basket to double-check
your directions. Gopher holes are worse in some places compared to
others. Keep your eyes open.
Have fun,
Joe
