Race Recap:
FOOL'S GOAL made two moves to secure command, met a stiff challenge
around the final turn, and shrugged off that challenge and drew off,
dominating the best trotters in the world and tying the World Record.
PLESAC got away seventh, worked his way out into a good flow, angled
widest of all in the lane and nosed out three others for the place.
DANISH DELIGHT sat in off the hot early fractions, moved out third
over into the turn, and trotted the lane with good trot to just miss
second. VICTORY TILLY left hard to the top, yielded to the favorite
early, pulled out first over just into the final turn, and gave the
winner a stout challenge before being rebuffed midstretch and coming
up short in a three-horse place photo. MONTE HALL sat in the four
hole before flushing out Victory Tilly's great cover, couldn't keep
up with the top two around the final turn, and trotted evenly for the
final check. FULFILLED DREAMS ducked in, improved his position along
the rail, and didn't fire. DIAMOND GOAL sat inside midpack, skimmed
the cones, and got roughgaited in the stretch. SONORAN SUNRISE was
last over through the final turn and never clicked. VICTORY MARGIN
got away in good order, but broke stride in the three hole just
before the half.
