6 Serie A Players in Argentina 23-Man Squad called up by Diego Armando Maradona
for Friendly game RUSSIA - ARGENTINA on August 12, 2009

Italian Soccer Serie Acongratulates the 6 Serie A players called up by Argentina
Head Coach Diego Armando Maradona for the friendly game RUSSIA - ARGENTINA on
August 12, 2009 in Moscow:  Napoli forward Ezequiel "El Pocho" Lavezzi, Napoli
midfielder Jesus Datolo, Catania goalkeeper Mariano Andujar, FC Inter defender
Javier Zanetti, FC Inter defender Nicolas Burdisso, and FC Inter forward Diego
Milito.

Hip hip hurrah!  I am super happy and doing my Cheerleading Dance for all 6
Argentinian players playing in the Italian Serie A, especially for Catania
goalkeeper  Mariano Andujar and El Pocho Lavezzi.  Why? Oh well, you know  all
the latest problems going on with Lavezzi and Napoli and this called up means so
much for Lavezzi.. a great backup from Maradona still believing in Lavezzi's
potential and commitment.

Catania goalkeeper Mariano Andujar just transfered from Estudiantes to Catania
this season and it is the third called up for Argentina. Andujar made his debut
with Argentina National team on June 6, 2009 against Colombia.

Napoli midfielder Jesus Datolo, 25, has received his first call-up since joining
Napoli this year.  Thumbs up!

How important is this game?  BIG TIME!  It is the last preparatory friendly
match before the 2010 World Cup Qualifier match ARGENTINA - BRAZIL on September
5, 2009 in Argentina.

Here is the current 2010 World CUP Qualifiers - CONMEBOL as of Wednesday, July
29, 2009.. Only the top 4 teams qualify for the FIFA World Cup. The 5th placed
team enters a home-and-away playoff with the 4th placed team from North,Central
America & Caribbean. Argentina is right now in the 4th position with 22 points
followed closely by Ecuador with 20 points and Uruguay with 18 points. Bottom
line, Argentina must win  the game against Brazil who are the leader with 27
points.  This is why this friendly game against Russia is "KEY TO SEE THE BEST
FORMATION facing Brazil.... wow.
