Napoli Cruise To Victory Over Austrian Side Wiener Neustadt
The Partenopei were in impressive touch yet again, as they smashed four past
their opponents. Napoli continued their pre-season training camp in Austria with
another
friendly match, this time against Wiener Neustadt, and the Italians ran
away with a comfortable 4-1 victory.
The coach, Roberto
Donadoni, was able to field a fairly talented line-up for the contest,
and it was the Argentine striker German Denis who stole the show with a
late brace.
Denis replaced his fellow countryman, Ezequiel
Lavezzi, on 73 minutes, but that was all the time he needed to put the
result beyond doubt.
New signing Hugo Campagnaro played 85
minutes of the encounter, whilst the club’s midfield sensation, Marek
Hamsik, only played a half, despite scoring the opener from the penalty
spot.
Juan Zuniga was impressive once again, and he was credited
for setting up the side’s second goal at the beginning of the second
half as Michele Pazienza reclaimed the lead for Napoli.
Yet
another inspiring performance by the Partenopei is sure to boost their
confidence even further, as they aim to regain a place in Europe next
season.
