Napoli
ended the 2008 - 2009 Serie A season in the 12th place with 46 points,
conceding 45 goals, scoring 43 goals with a negative -2 goal
difference. You bet the target is to make it at least to the top 6
teams and having a positive goal difference. Marek Hamsik was the top
scorer for Napoli with 9 goals followed by German Denis with 8 and then
Ezequiel Lavezzi with 7 goals.
I am so happy reporting all the
good news for Napoli guys while drinking my protein shake. The first
good news is the return from Argentina of forward Ezequiel Lavezzi who
supposedly was breaking up with Napoli. Well, the rumor is already
cleared because Lavezzi returns from Argentina along his teammates
abd buddies goalkeeper Navarro, Datolo, and forward German Denis who
all were vacationing.
Lavezzi taking a direct flight from
Buenos Aires at 13:35 to Roma arriving on Thursday, July 9 at 7:25 a.m.
in Fiumicino Airport. Then, hello, hello, hello, immediately
transferring to Hilton Hotel and meeting with Napoli Sporting Director
Marino and President Aurelio De Laurentis to clarify all doubts about
his contract and resume regular training after all the "he said, they
said."
At 14:10 Uruguayan players Bogliacino and Amodio will arrive from Uruguay in
Rome.

returning to Napoli are Dalla Bona, De Zerbi and Marcelo Zalayeta all
waiting to be released.

SSC Napoli to play Austrian clubs in July
By Thomas Hochwarter
Italian
club SSC Napoli will play three friendlies in Lower Austria during
their summer training camp in July, it was announced today (Thurs).
The
team, which finished the past Serie A season in twelfth place, will
prepare in Lindabrunn for the upcoming season. Napoli will stay there
for three weeks and play against Sankt Pölten (20 July), Magna Wiener
Neustadt (21 July) and Sollenau (30 July).
Austrian football fans can look forward to seeing stars like Marcelo Zalayeta
and Manuele Blasi.
Provincial
officials have agreed to let the club stay for free at the sports
academy in Lindabrunn since the Italians have agreed to play matches
with the local clubs. Councillor Petra Bohuslav said: "Income from
ticket sales for the matches will go to our clubs."
The camp
means Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni will return to Lower Austria after
staying at Baden’s Weikersdorf castle last year. Back then, the former
AC Milan ace was manager of the Italian national team that exited
Euro2008 in the quarter-finals against Spain.
