Napoli, having lost out on the race to sign free-agent Julio Cruz, will now turn
their attention back to Inter striker Victor Obinna, according to Datasport.
The player had been linked with Napoli earlier this summer, but the southern
Italian outfit opted to try for different options instead, including Lazio's
Goran
Pandev and the previously mentioned Cruz. However, these potential
moves have not panned out and it appears the Obinna move could be back
on.
With Uruguayan striker Marcelo Zalayeta possibly joining
Bari, the Partenopei are looking for someone to complete a trident
attack, along with Ezequiel Lavezzi and Fabio Quagliarella.
Obinna
did not have many opportunities to shine with the Nerazzurri last
season, only making nine appearances in total, but Napoli believe the
speedy striker would be an asset.
The 22-year-old could leave the San Siro for as little as €4 million.
