Napoli boss Edy Reja has spoken out against the decision to ban Partenopei fans
from the Stadio Olimpico next weekend.

The Derby del Sole between Roma and Napoli always brings a tense atmosphere, but
the local authorities are unwilling to risk any scenes of violence.

Only Giallorossi season ticket holders will be allowed to attend, leaving large
sections of the stadium empty.

“Playing the game without tickets sold on the day or away fans is a defeat not
just for Napoli but for Italian football as a whole,” Reja moaned.

“It has been a while since this derby took place and it is humiliating that it
has to be contested under such conditions.”

Napoli fans were also forbidden from attending the Vesuviani’s trip to the San
Siro to face Inter after their fans misbehaved during the game against Livorno.

“We have already been penalised and it is becoming too much," Reja concluded.

"The powers that be need to find a different solution.”

Napoli pair in training brawl

Napoli stars Maurizio Domizzi and Roberto Sosa are facing hefty fines after an
ugly training ground fracas.

The incident started when Roman defender Domizzi slid in late to tackle Sosa and
clattered the Argentine.

Super sub Sosa reacted furiously to the challenge and the pair had to be pulled
apart as they exchanged insults.

“It was like two spoiled children,” sporting director Pierpaolo Marino bewailed.

“Scenes like that make me ashamed and it will be sorted by Monday when we all
meet up.”

The two men received a severe dressing down from Coach Edy Reja and are likely
to be hit hard in the wallet.

Meanwhile, striking starlet Ezequiel Lavezzi also let his temper get the better
of him when he was involved in a minor scrape in his car.

The Argentine ace jumped out of his vehicle to yell at the owner of the other
car.

"He was like a man possessed," a witness reported. "His reaction was totally out
of proportion."
