The thing about Napoli in the world of Italian football is that with the
exception of Genoa, everyone is their rival!!! There is no welcoming mat for
Napoli and they are hated throughout the country. The only exception is of
course the good folk of the Genoa ultras, with whom the gellemati has lasted for
many years.
Main foes would be the obvious candidates, the 2 Rome clubs, Inter, Milan, Juve
and Verona.
Everyone in the country hates Juventus, and I think the hatred for them often
goes up another notch when they visit the San Paolo.
Personally I hate Hellas Verona with a passion, and their continous efforts in
their racist curva to show disdain for the good folk of Naples. The Stadio
Bentegodi has always been an unwelcoming visiting place for the travelling
partenopei, and always will be. Eternal foes.......Enjoying their lowly position
at the moment. :)
