Calaio’ earns top marks

Emanuele Calaio’ was again decisive for Napoli’s second consecutive win, while
Genoa start their campaign with a victory. The former Pescara striker sprung the
offside trap on Grava’s pass and put a cool finish past the goalkeeper to beat
Massesse 1-0, although the newly promoted side wasted two great chances to
snatch a point. Napoli now lead Serie C1 Girone B on full points along with
Sangiovannese. Genoa finally began their campaign following their demotion and
got off to a winning start, beating Ravenna 3-1 away from home.
