Coppa Success
Napoli are in the Second Round of the Coppa Italia after beating Pescara despite
having two men sent off. The Stadio San Paolo was practically deserted for this
knockout match and it was an uphill struggle when Grava was red-carded early on.
It didn’t stop Edy Reja’s men, as Calaio opened the scoring against his old club
before Sosa ensured qualification was safe. By the time that goal was netted,
Napoli were already playing in nine men for Montervino’s dismissal.
