The dates for the new FA Cup style Coppa Italia First Round have been drawn up
with the likes of Fiorentina, Parma and Lecce in action.

The opening tie in the competition this season will kick off at 18.30 local time
(17.30 in the UK) between Spezia and Cesena.


The Coppa Italia has been changed again for 2005-06, as this term the opening
three rounds will be a straight knock-out in one game, moving on to home and
away legs from the Fourth Round.


Due to problems with the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, Genoa’s first clash with
Catanzaro will instead be played in Alessandria.
