Pozzi's Super debut
New signing Nicola Pozzi has made a stunning debut with two goals for Napoli’s
first Serie C1 victory.
The youngster arrived on loan from Milan last week and made an immediate impact
on the newly constructed club.
Lanciano had taken an early lead with Ticli’s strike, but a goal either side of
the half-time break from Pozzi ensured the points go to Napoli in this historic
encounter.
The Azzurri held on in the closing stages after Fabio Gatti was sent off for a
second bookable offence.
“I am happy with this victory,” said Coach Giampiero Ventura. “The lads reacted
well to Lanciano’s attacks and we have beaten an excellent side despite going
down to ten men.”
