The CMYM will be hosting a post-race social immediately following the meet on Oct. 14.  The event will be held upstairs in the Program Room at the HCY.  The meet warm-ups will start at 4:00 pm.  The meet should end around 7:00 pm. 

 

The theme this year is Mexican Fiesta.

 

To make this social a success as in previous years, we need everyone’s help!!

 

I need EACH of you all to bring a food item from below and some of YOU to also help with setup and tear down.  Pretty Please!

 

Volunteers are needed.

 

Setup:  2:45 pm

            8 people required – need to be able to move chairs, picnic tables and general meet setup

            3:30 pm

3 people required – need to decorate tables and setup area for food – includes table cloths (need at least 12 large plastic)

 

 

Food:    4:00 pm – deliver to Program Room

            Seasoned Ground Beef (5 lbs each for tacos) – 4 people

            Seasoned Cubed Chicken (5 lbs each) – 3 people

            Shredded Cheddar Cheese (2 lbs. each) – 2 people

            Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese (2 lbs. each) – 2 people

            Shredded Lettuce (3 heads each) – 2 people

            Chopped Tomatoes (4 cups each) – 3 people

            Chopped Onions (4 cups each) – 2 people

            Salsa – Medium Spice (2 1qt. jars each) – 4 people

            Tortilla Chips – (2 Giant Bags each) – 4 people

            Jalapenos – (2 Large Jars each) – 1 person

            Cupcakes – (24 each) – 3 people

            Cookies – Chocolate Chip, Large (24 each) – 3 people

            Cookies – Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar, Peanut Butter, etc., Large (24 each) – 3 people

 

CleanUp: Following Social ~ 8:30 pm

            6 people required – pool area and Program Room cleanup.  Includes moving tables and chairs, removing trash from the building, etc.

 

My wife has graciously agreed to organize the social so please RSVP to Rena Jacobson at RenaJ@... .  Do this ASAP (like right now) so I don’t have a stressed out wife on my hands!!!!
