Join us for the inaugural Iron Girl Columbia Women's
Triathlon on August 27, 2006 in Ellicott City,
Maryland.  Columbia  and Howard County are the site of
the internationally known Columbia Triathlon held in
May. This women's-only triathlon has much to offer and
is perfect for first-timers and seasoned athletes
alike.  With upbeat music on the course, Waterford
Crystal awards to the Professional and Age Group
Overall Champions, and special, limited edition Iron
Girl performance wicking shirts sized just for women
for all participants, and a host of other Goodies,
including a special Health and Fitness Expo with Women
in mind, lectures and clinics on Women in MultiSport,
Fullfilling the Dream, this event is sure to be
the race of theYear!

 Produced and directed by The Columbia Triathlon
Association, Inc, a 501c-3 non-profit organization,
The Iron Girl Columbia Women's Triathlon course will
feature a 1K swim, 30 K bike and 5K run through
beautiful Centennial Park bordering the community of
Columbia and the surrounding rolling farmlands. The
event will include several categories for women to
participate and compete in including: professional,
age group, physically challenged, relay and corporate
relay categories.  There are a limited number of
spaces available, so register early! 

All women who register in 2005, will receive a
performance wicking shirt featuring the phrase "I'm in
Training."  The first 100 women who register will also
receive an Iron Girl Headsweats race hat.  For more
