Hello Everyone!

Well are you almost ready?  Starting to get a bit closer and time to get serious.  Please feel free to forward this email message to anyone you know who is also doing the event -- just in case some of the email addresses we have do not go through.

1.  The ANTICIPATED 4.4 GCBS 1st wave start is 10:30 a.m.  with an "open window" up to 11:00 a.m.  We are going for the 10:30 a.m. start.  (Second 4.4 wave start is 15 mins. after the first wave.)

2.  The confirmed 1 Mile Bay Challenge swim -- 1st wave start is 9:30 a.m.  Right now the 4 waves are planned at 3 to 5 min. intervals which will be confirmed on swim morning.

3.  Please be reminded that there is NO SWIM DAY ENTRY PROCESS for the 1 Mile Bay Challenge this year.  There will only be packet pick up at Hemingway's Marina for the 1 Mile Bay Challenge on event day.

4.  Packet pick up, with MANDATORY PHOTO ID (no id -- no swim), for the 4.4 mile swim is only at Sandy Point State Park.  The shuttle bus schedule from the park and lock lots near Hemingway's Marina will be posted next week.

5.  The "most important" time line/logistics will be posted by next Wed. on the Lin-Mark web site (required reading).

6.  If you are entered into the 4.4 Mile Bay Swim and know there is no way you can participate . . . PLEASE CONTACT LINDA  ASAP.  We have so many on the wait list who desperately still want to participate.  PLEASE DO NOT WASTE A PRECIOUS SWIM SLOT!!!!!!!!!!!

7.  It is really important that you all stop back next week to read up on the event updates . . . ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A FIRST TIMER TO THE BAY SWIM!
