hey folks,

looks like Max and I are going to start up the OW swim workouts again
this year. We are tenatively planning to get together this Moday, May 2
at 7 am for the first swim of the year. Temps are in the mid-50's,
possibly to the lower 60's by Monday, so a wetsuit will be needed
(unless you are really tough). Max is doing the 7.5 mile Potomac River
swim this year and we are both doing the 4.4 mile bay swim, so it is
possible we will do 2 swims per week this year. I'll keep you updated.

Due to a recent lower back injury I will be swimming very slowly and
will probably only do the swim out to the point and back, instead of the
entire transit around the island. For those of you who are looking to
get in about a mile swim in open water this is a great swim. I'll be
happy to serve as guide this week if you are interested.

There is a shower available on the property, and a hot tub too for
warming up after the swim. Come join us - columbia is only 20 some days
away!!
