We are very excited to be hosting Swim Series Meet #2
in Salisbury on November 20. A couple of things I
want to share and ask that you share with your
teams...

We are planning a great meal afterward, with crab dip,
salad, munchies, pulled beef and pork sandwiches, and
Smith Island Cakes. We hope that you'll plan to
attend the dinner ...oh yeah and the meet :) The
charge for the dinner is expected to be around $5.

I understand that a bus has been secured and I applaud
that.

* Coach Rand has arranged for a bus to the meet
* it will leave at the Arundel Olympic Swim Center
* 2690 Riva Rd, Annapolis parking lot at 2pm sharp
* on the 20th of November. The bus can hold 55 people
* and seat will be given on a 1st come basis. The
* cost will be $5 (given the cost of gas it is a great
* deal!!!).

As discussed, there will be no charge for Maryland
Association members and $5 for other USMS registered
athletes. Registration forms will be available at the
meet as well as entry cards for races.

Finally, I want to add a bit of a change to the
directions...road construction has closed the
intersection of Beaglin Park Drive and
Business-50...so, here are the directions with a
slight change:

Salisbury YMCA: Take US-50 East across the Bay Bridge,
towards Salisbury. As you approach Salisbury, US-50
forks with US-50 Business Route. Stay right, this
becomes US-50 Business Route and follow for 4.5 miles.
Turn right onto Civic Avenue for .1 mile ...go
immediately into left turn lane at intersection with
Mt. Hermon Rd. Turn left onto Mt. Hermon Road and
follow for .3 miles. Turn right onto Beaglin Park
Drive and follow for 1.1 miles. Turn right onto

South Schumaker Drive (5th Light, overall, after turn
from 50) and follow for 0.6 miles and the Y is on the
right. The address is 715 South Schumaker Dr.
Salisbury, MD 21802 and phone number is 410-749-0101.
