We're 1 week away from the big first meet at HCY. I hope everybody is
planning on coming! Since the meet's being held at our house, we're
responsible for running it, and Coach Mike's asked me to help out by
organizing setup/cleanup. So, my fellow teammates, I'm now turning to you
and asking for your help. I've got a good list of folks who've already
agreed to help out... but more people only makes things that much easier
and that much more enjoyable. So, pick your source of motivation (helping
out your team, hanging out with you teammates, whatever it takes) and come
help out.

Warmups start at 4:00. Ideally, the setup team will show up around 2:30...
but if you can show up early at all, I'd really appreciate it (I'll even
take Democrats). Most of what we have to do involves gathering up chairs
and tables and setting them up on the pool deck for the meet and upstairs
for the social afterwards... nothing difficult. If you don't see yourself
as hired muscle, don't worry. This organization needs some brains
too. Unfolding those tables posed a pretty good puzzle last year (a 3
rocket-scientist minimum).

So, before your head gets too big from the Speedo sponsorships and pictures
in the Sun paper, put a note on your calendar to come out to the pool at
2:30 on Saturday to help setting things up for what we'll surely make a
great meet.
