Hi Club Puckers,

I was wondering what the metal bracing on the back of your A court walls were?  It looked like galvanized steel studs...could someone help me with this as i'd like to use them on our new court walls for CMCs.

Thanks!

Steven

$5 per car. Not sure Cali laws let you fit 20 into a Prius.  That'd be fun though

OK Mr. Smarty Pantalones,

It is $5.00 per car..... and no, you can't park a few blocks away and carpool from there.  It's practically free already.  Don't be an A-hole and abuse the system.

OK Puckers,
Master of Elbows has the plan!
We've got an easy 30 minute team warm up.

The drill should be fun.  It takes 6 players a piece for the drill, so pack the van and take advantage of the $5 dollar hockey deal!

See you tomorrow!

Website features info mostly from last year at this point - it will be updated regularly and frequently as time goes by. It is certainly worth your time - see new stuff, get new info, see and meet old and new diving friends, bring someone to try scuba. There is a more than adequate snack bar, free parking, easy access to US 101 and other major highways. These are experienced dive show producers who know what they're doing - come and see!

Anglers and divers can now go online to more easily submit their abalone, lobster, salmon, steelhead and sturgeon report cards required by the Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW). These report cards provide important harvest data critical to helping fishery scientists better manage these fishing programs.
Reporting requirements for anglers and divers have not changed, but this online submission option makes the reporting faster and easier. By providing harvest details more quickly, fisheries managers can more promptly put the information to use.
Standard mail reporting is still available and can be done through the address printed on the report card.
To report online, just go to CDFW’s Online License Service (www.dfg.ca.gov/licensing/ols/) page and search for your profile by entering your last name, date of birth and ID Number, which can be a driver’s license number, a GO ID or other form of identification. When the system finds an exact match, it automatically logs the user on to their profile, where he or she can purchase a license or complete a harvest report card.
Confirmation numbers will be provided to those who report online, so there will be no need to mail in the report card. Write the number on the report card and retain it for 90 days for survey purposes. Once a report card has been reported, it is no longer valid.
Please note: The law requires sport fishing report cards be submitted by January 31 even if divers and angers were unsuccessful or did not fish at all. Please refer to your report card for specific reporting requirements. For additional information on harvest reporting requirements, please visit www.dfg.ca.gov/licensing/harvestreporting/.
Details on specific species and reporting availability online are listed below.
Requirements for online reporting
Complete data is required and must be completed within 20 minutes to avoid a system time out.
Sport fishing report cards may be reported online only after the last day of the report card’s validity. All entries on the report card must be entered onto the electronic form, including activity where no catches were made.
Reporting Availability – You may submit your information online for items below beginning on the specified date. Only the data from 2012 report cards and beyond may be submitted online.
Dec. 1, 2012
Abalone Report Card
Jan. 1, 2013
North Coast Salmon Report Card
Spiny Lobster Report Card
Steelhead Report Card
Sturgeon Fishing Report Card
Fishing harvest and effort data is essential to help scientists better manage these fisheries, which is why anglers are required by regulation to submit sport fishing report cards in a timely manner.

I hadn't been getting enough SXXT from you guys recently so I decided to "steer it up" (said like Bob Marley).

We are changing from Thursday to Wednesday evenings starting on January 16th at LGHS

Alert readers have already fathomed that our last Thursday practice at LGHS will be
this Thursday the 10th of January.

RAP iT GOZE!!!

Sunday was some sort of fun - 17 total for the game and about 12 folks for the warm-up/ drills.  The Master of Elbows gave us a mixed underwater set to start with, then moved into an obstacle course drill that included stick moves shooting and defending.

Welcome to John from Massachusetts!  He has relocated to Campbell and we hope to see him all DA TIME.  He dropped in out of the hockey-sphere and joined us this Sunday......... a very solid player.

As before, Super Sunday scrimmage has more than your normal amount of scrimmage because most of the "dickin' around time" happens from 3-4pm.  The 8 on 9 game started shortly after 4pm.

Members of the CP Gastronomical Society (no, Gastronomical is NOT the same as Ken's medical specialty) met at Los Gatos Brewery in order to gastronize (not a real word as far as I know).  Members included Brigit, Jen, Ben, Martin and Goze.

Why can't every day be Super SunDay??

And That's How Goze goes,

Goze

Perhaps the coldest hockey night of the year last night.........however the pussy effect was minimal and we had 11 players.  The pool was warm and THE SHOWERS ARE FIXED, just in time too!

Both ends of the gender spectrum had hot showers last night.  The female end of the gender spectrum actually had hot water on Sunday but that bit of information was not effectively communicated to those players on the male end of the gender spectrum.

There is Sunday hockey, regular time, 4-6pm!!!

Next week we will play on Wednesday, and on every subsequent week too.  No more Thursday night hockey at LGHS (until further notice).

Who is stupider?

The people who rarely help with the tiny amount of work that needs to be done on deck and in the pool.

Or the idiot who continually fills in and does it because his moronic friends don't seem to get the message or are too special to pitch in.

Dude you missed it. It was spectacular. Let me set it up for you.

Imagine if you will time and space coming together. A ripe forms in the continuum. Steam freezing as it rises from the water, concrete frozen in time, water smooth as the ages and clear as antiquate itself. One puck 12 determined souls driven by the quest for dominance of their inner spirit contained in their earthly forms. Souls freed from their daily bondage as they quest for spiritual understanding.

Think biblical but without all the plagues, wrath of god and that whale.

Tonight is the first night of Wednesday hockey at LGHS.  Do not come on Thursdays anymore!!

The lifeguards are only paid until 10pm so don't chat in the pool or locker room after play has stopped.  Put the equipment away and leave.

Don't leave the pool area until goals and pucks are put away.

Hi all,
Kaitlin Judy left some gear here at PCC and wants to see if it's still around and if someone would kindly bring it to the tournament in Colorado this weekend or CMC in Milwaukee next weekend.  Here's her description of her stuff:

There is a dark blue glove (right hand), a black stick with KM in white on the handle, and a red water bottle from the America's cup. If someone could bring it to either Denver or Milwaukee, that would be great! Thanks a lot!

If it's still around and you can bring it along, please let me know and I'll let her know.
Thanks bunches!
Brigit

Ditto Greg.

Now that you have verbalized what must be the collective emotions of all the participants,  the memory of the experience becomes more sublime.

We are all of us subtly changed since last night

T
he full reach of those changes has yet to become apparent.

But we have been changed............ oh yes, we have been changed.

Assuming that I can arrange it with the pool, would you attend hockey at LGHS on Sunday, February 3rd from 10am to 1pm?  This is the first Sunday of the month so it only costs $5.00 per car.  Drills and warm up start 1 hour before the scrimmage.  You still have time to go to the Superbowl party of your choice afterwards.

So if you will attend please respond to the doodle link below.

The pool was warm, the showers were warm, the weather was even warm............... but MikeG, in a neoprene vest, was cold.   There is no pleasing some people.

Pretty ideal hockey conditions.  13 players.  Dave from Vancouver via Italy has moved to the South Bay and was there today.  He checked the website last week and saw that we played on Thursdays............. because yours truly, Da Goze, had not updated the CP website.  We actually play Wednesdays now.  But Dave, operating on bad information showed up on Thursday.  Welcome to the Bay Area Dave!!!

(Somebody actually looked at the website....... YOO HOO!!!!  I am updating it now.)

Duy came to hockey reluctantly and threatened to leave before play if I could not provide appropriate swim attire.  I gave him one of those US "canvas ball breaker" suits that never seem to die.  He played well but  complained the whole time in a high voice.  Hockey requires some sacrifice Duy, join Da Club wit Da Goze.

It was fun......... you shoulda been dere............... well maybe not.  If you came you may have whined the whole time, gotten into a fight and had us kicked out of the pool.  So maybe it's just better this way.............. SUCKA!

I sent out a couple of Doodle, sorry, I need some info for scheduling and that seems to be the most efficient way to gather it.  So suck it up and sign it!

And That's How Goze goes,

Goze
