all received, you "validate" the address and thus accidentally

still a lot of people in Germany believing in getting rich quick without
silicon valley stocks.

Have you seen those new style fins that have the split down the middle? I
meet the guy who holds the patent on them down here in Costa Mesa last
night. He licensed it to Scuba Pro, Apollo, and Atomic. Many other
manufactures are in the works. He only will allow his design to be licensed
after he test the fin himself and it meets his speed requirements. He told
me Scuba Pro will be coming out with a full foot version of a split fin
this year. Should be interesting to see how they work in hockey.
They work great for Scuba, and some like even for the free diving.
Only down side of the split fins is lack of the quick response. Since fins do
not work by holding the water on the blades, they can not respond very quick
with a single strong kick. I suppose it will make playing hockey difficult.
Although somebody may find the new way using these fins. Who knows?
All the three fins from different manufactures are about same for the
performance. Apollo fins originally had a problem with their buckles, but they
are now OK. I do not know about Scuba Pro, but Apollo fins are from size small
to LL (sz3-12). They have two versions one in rubber and one in colored
plastic. The rep told me that performance is a little better with black rubber
style. Atomic fins should come out in June. They will have three sizing
supporting sz7-12. Obviously they are not really thinking women there.
My store (Captain Aqua's) carries Apollo biofin for $169.99. Mention that you
are playing hockey, we will give you 10% off for these fins. Simply ask for
Kyoko. See you.

I have the Scuba Pros and they work great for scuba. I know Rodales Skin
Diving has rated all the split fins well above any other type of fin,
including those from Mares, but these are all open heel fins. The kick with
the split fins is short flutter strokes, much like that I see those who use
Ali's uses. Not the long storkes used with Avanti L. Rodales said the
splits are deceiving because they do not feel powerful and it feels like
there is nothing on your feet compared to long blade fins. But on their
test course, they come up the fastest time and time again, and the divers
used less air consumption. The said there are some differences, such as
stopping and quick direction changes, that splits are not good at. Its the
speed I am intrested in. I do not think these test divers are swimming with
a butterfly type kick and using their whole body like I like to do with
Avanti Ls. So they may be better for that type of kick still. But I think
those who use Alais may be interseted in them.

Steve and I would both like to go... no doubt you and Steve have talked. I
looked into airfares the other day. Cost of flights look rather high.
Lowest fares I could find on the web were $400. Got any info on cheaper
fares? If I can find a more reasonable airfare, and it doesn't interfere
with my new job, you can put me on the definites list. I suppose
priceline.com may work if all else fails on the airfare. Unfortunately,
can't predict the job thing yet. I'm off to St. Louis Wednesday and should
have a better idea of my June commitments when I return. Don't know if this
helps you update your list...

Hey,
There has been a lot of ticket buying in the last day or so. This is good. If
you haven't got your ticket yet do it soon. Houston (IAH) and Austin (AUS)
are each about an hour and a half drive from the pool in College Station, TX.
You can fly all the way into College Station (CLL).
The best fare I've heard of so far is $289 RT to Austin from San Jose on
Continental (check with Steve Shephard). It leaves at around noon on
Thursday and comes back in the afternoon on Monday. Most of the fares are
more expensive. If you need to be gone less time you may end up paying $373
or $446 as some of us have.
It sounds like most people are planning on staying at the Holiday Inn. Below
is the hotel info copied from the nationals website:

I was able to get a ticket for $225 ($268 total)on
United Air. through priceline.com. I wish that I had
started my bid at $200 though. I might have be even
cheaper!

thanks a lot for the address; by the way, wondering about some of those rule
discussions; there have been a few suggestions about going back to eight
players (the original "octopush") and another about not allowing subs at
all, as well as those about moving subs to the side - nobody has mentioned
one other rule from the old days: quite simply, no subbing while the play is
in action; not sure how it impacts the game or how people would feel, but it
seems a very natural compromise to the extremes, is very simple to
implement, achieves all the stated objectives, and was the rule at one time
so that it can't be considered just silly tinkering
