Apologies in advance for the intrusion, spammage and potential
duplicate emails.

The time has come to start a regular and exclusive lunch time
DiscHoops game in the south bay. There is plenty enough interest to
make it happen and the good thing about hoops is that you only need
8 people at a minimum so that should help offset the challenge a bit.

DiscHoops is sort of a basketballesque version of Ultimate. It's
fast paced, lots of action and relatively little standing around.
It's legal to throw to yourself (with caveats) and it's legal to
swat the disc out of the thrower's hands.

There's also penalties (i.e. traveling is a turnover, etc.). I hope
you all get a chance to try it sometime. For those who think that
it's more physical than Ultimate (goaltimate), that is a perception
issue. There is actually much less contact in this game.

So, beginning this week, DiscHoops will now be offered on Fridays at
Sylvan park in Sunnyvale, starting at 12:20.

Sylvan park is centrally located, only a moment off of the Highway
