NOTE: I'm cross-posting to all the Bay Area ultimate lists
I'm on. I apologize if you get this more than once.
Hello All,
A friend of mine runs a high school where the kids need to
satisfy a physical education requirement. A group of them
petitioned the school to be able to play Ultimate as their
requirement, and it was granted.
Now, the school needs someone with knowledge of Ultimate
to coach the kids. There are ~16 kids currently. They
need to play 2-3 times per week, starting at 3:30pm until
4:30pm or later.
The school doesn't have the budget to pay the coach, but
there might be a small amount of compensation that could
be provided. This would last until the end of the school
year (late May/early June.)
If my friend can't find an Ultimate coach, either Ultimate
won't be allowed, or the kids will play without any
instruction.
I would do it myself, but 3:30pm (at Ellis and Scott) is
not possible for me right now. These are obviously
enthusiastic kids, and this seems like a wonderful
opportunity to teach them about our great game - the
physical aspects of it, as well as teamwork and the
spirit of the game.
I really hope someone here can help. Please feel free to
forward this message to anyone who might be able to assist.
Please e-mail igurinmalous@... if you're

Thanks,
Ira
