Last night we had to watch Wedge sleep while Cabrera -- a decent
pitcher but in this THIRD inning in relief??? -- lose the game. Today
we have to watch Jake Westbrook run out of gas and get no assist from
his manager by way of a bullpen.

This is a very, very poor performance by a manager purported to be
trying to secure a postseason berth.

After a full season, the fans deserved better than a manager who took
the last week off.
