1. Chicago 2016 needs the support of all Chicagoans to show the International
Olympic Committee that the people of Chicago want the 2016 Olympic and
Paralympic Games.
The best and easiest way to do this is to donate your time to The Bid. We need
the various communities to show up at Waveland Park, and be there between 2:30p
-3:30p. The more the better. Parking will be a little tough, but people can
park off the Wilson exit just north and make their way down the lakefront of
bike path.
Place: Waveland Park along Lake Shore Drive

Date: Sunday, April 5, 2009
Time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm
The banners from the Asian American Rally on March 21 will be on display for the
IOC visitors.
Bring flags, bring banners make signs, whatever you would like to help welcome
the IOC to our great city. Please help me spread the word, and I will be
emailing others as well.
The IOC will award the games based on technical merit, but more importantly,
based on if they feel the City wants the Games or not.
