1. Badminton League
FYI from Donn Gobbie:
Dear Badminton Players:
North American Badminton (NAB) is a new badminton league for adults and
juniors of all playing abilities. NAB offers a variety of formats and
several seasons throughout the year, and is designed to get more people
involved in the sport.
Anyone can start a local league, and league winners will progress to
State/Province tournaments, Regional Tournaments, and ultimately the
NAB Championships. Leagues matches can be played at one facility, or
traveling leagues, with several facilities, may also be played.
The NAB website has Google group pages set up for every state and
province, so that all interested players and league directors can post
messages on their state or province page in order to find or form a
team/league:

The NAB already has sponsor interest, which will be announced soon.
The NAB marketing plan includes promoting the league to clubs, park
departments, community centers, middle schools, high schools, colleges
and universities, YMCAs, Boys and Girls Clubs, and other organizations.
Don't miss out on the fun! Join or start a league soon!
Please forward this to any other interested badminton players.
[Thanks to Milan Kratka for the info!]
