Hi Joe,
I saw your answer on the message of
Igor which he has send to this Collectorsclub.Between
the lines I saw your challenge and take up the
challenge. I am Bart and I am a (wood)tennis racket
collector for about 4 years.I live in the Netherlands, not
far from the capital Amsterdam. I am 53 years old en
worked allmost 30 years in the Dutch
sportsbusiness(sales). My purpose is to collect wooden frames and
rackets, the first metal and the glassfiber rackets. On
this moment I have over more than 500 rackets. Most of
course Dutch, but also from Germany, Belgium and France.
My oldest racket is a Slazenger (S&L)1886 I'am
trying to get a archive of wooden tennisrackets, a
hopeless task of course, but let me dreaming. I am
collecting tennisballcans and tennisbooks to.In your answer
to Igor you mentioned that more collectors will tell
something on this platform. My suggestion is the following,
The first collector on the list ( Allenrlevin) is
starting the carrousel and gives a little story from his
hands end asked the second one (Avocat50) to go further
on. At the end all collectors are known by the others
en I am sure that from time more collectors will be
on this platform. If someone has questions to this
side of the ocean do not hesitate to write it
down.

Sorry for my English.

Best regards of the wooden
shoes country.

bart
