I've finally decided that my small collection of antique fencing weapons
needs a better home and more respect than I've been providing (they've
been suffering the indignity of a closet).

Anyway, this is what I have, please contact me off list and thank you
for looking.

1. Pair of sabers with sharkskin and steel grips, mid-19th century,
marked: (side 1) Made in Germany, ##, (side 2) J. H. Lau and Co., New
York.

2. Pair of cutlasses (or schaelgers/haute rapiers) unmarked. 24 3/4"
blade length. When I bought these I was told they were 1860s US Navy
fencing cutlasses and had no reason to doubt the dealer. Recently I saw
a pair advertised as 19th century Schlaegers or Haute rapiers.
