Members of the CFML,
I sent the following inquiry to Mr. Kim Moser and he suggested I post it on
the CFML. If anyone here could provide any assistance in search it would be
greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

My name is Leiv Harstad. I am an American living and working in Japan. Since
I was child I was always interested in fencing, however it was unavailable
where I grew up and as I became older I found myself turned off by the
purely sport aspect of Olympic fencing. Through my studies and certain turn
of events in my life I ended up studying kendo (6 years, still do) and other
Japanese sword arts, because they remain to be a gentleman's sport with an
equally important academic side. Although the art of western fencing has
always been an interest of mine it wasn't until recently that I learned of
classical fencing. I would still very much like to learn fencing however I
have a feeling that living in Japan I may be out of luck.
Getting to the point, I am contacting you (I have contacted other
classical fencing sites as well) with the hope that you may know of a study
group in Japan that I may be able to contact and hopefully be able to train
with. Any help that you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
Regards,
Leiv Harstad
