I know this is (or used to be) a Classical Fencing List but I am
hoping some
of you will be able to answer my question. Anyone know where I can
find
aluminum Longsword practice weapons for blade on blade contact?
My wooden wasters work fine for my beginner students but they bounce
a bit
for intermediate level students. I have several students in my
German
Longsword class (Lichtenaur) who are ready to move up to metal but
cant
afford steel practice Longswords yet.
Aluminum Longswords used to be available for between $160 and $180
at
http://www.swordcrafts.com/ the folks who made them for AEMMA.
However, I
was told they are temporarily (or permanently) not making them
anymore
Thanks.
