A brief note on the Broadsword League bouts: there has been a lot of
discussion and debate about whether or not the action should stop on a
touch. This is currently being treated as a matter to be negotiated
between the fencers and their seconds. That is why, in some videos of
League bouts, you will see the fencers stop and re-set after a touch,
while in other videos they do not.
