Hello,

I want to say thank you to all the instructors of ISMAC 2006. This year saw
some very new classes (dueling shields, polearms and pirates oh my) as well
as new approaches to old favorites (a whole class designed by the
participants). You are truly the cream of WMA teachers and it is wonderful
to have you all together in one place; even if it’s just for a weekend.

I especially want to thank the participants traveling from around the US,
Canada and abroad who made this year the largest ISMAC ever! It was a
wonderful and exhausting weekend, but 2006 saw the learning curve go through
the roof. I saw things this weekend that I never could have imaged 7 years
ago. I look forward to hearing more detailed reviews of the workshop from
ya’ll.

For me, it was a truly inspiring year, so thank you all. We have already
started work on ISMAC 2007 and I look forward to seeing new faces mixed with
the familiar ones. The infamous statue awaits you!
