I looked at the Border Texas Division of the USFA, plus some of my old
contacts, and didn't see anything that would help her out. So maybe the fine
folks on the CFML could help Ms. Osborne out.

The only thing I'd add is it's MUCH more useful to train with other people
(regardless of their fencing background) than to go it alone.

Greetings,
I noticed this reply of yours in the Classical Fencing mailing list,
which I have just joined.
I live in Las Cruces, NM, and I want to learn classical fencing. In
the reply below, you mention Las Cruces as having USFA fencing only.
Do you happen to know of any classical fencer nearby who would be
willing to instruct? I am quite hesitant to attempt to learn on my
own, as I know such attempts lead to bad habits. Can you give me some
advice?
Thank you for your time and patience.

Yours sincerely,
Heather Osborne
