I have made a preliminary trip to study this text, and am going back
again in April. What I've translated thus far is great reading -
190pg text in 2 sections: Theory & Practice. Ghisliero's theory is
intriguing: 109 pages of some very cool & directly applicable stuff:
- describes the body as devided into the 4 humors: melancolia,
flemma, sangue, colera (p2)
- talks about the body’s proportions (p14)
- refers to Aristotle & tempo (p21/2)
- talks about the circle & geometry in fighting (p41)
*supports that SPADA article :)
The Practice section is equally interesting, particularly since sword
& dagger comes before single sword, then to sword & cape, the
buckler, etc. Includes combat on foot vs a mounted opponent, and
mounted vs mounted.
Gary.

I know that someone here will know and I am aware that this is taking
place, but where?
Translation of Ghisliero, Federico?
Thanks,
