Short answer is yes. UNM has a cadre of students who fence a couple of
nights a week in Johnson Gym. (If you're familiar with the city, you know
what that is.) Duke City Fencing (http://www.dukecityfencing.net/) is a
salle predominantly set up for sport fencing (especially epee), but there's
some classically trained folks over there. I'm classically trained myself
and taught for a few years at a local high school and at UNM, but am
currently on a hiatus.
There's also some fencing in Socorro, Las Cruces, Los Alamos, and Santa Fe,
but it's all USFA.
Feel free to contact me directly and I can get you in touch with some folks.
