I would like to announce the inaugural session of the Sonoma State
University Fencing Master's Certificate Program, to be held August 8-
19th 2005.
This course will focus on traditional Italian fencing, and it is
appropriate for experienced fencers wishing to learn how to teach
this method.
The initial session will allow the Master's candidate to earn 3 units
of credit towards completion of the following degrees: Instructor (6
units + exam demonstrating facility at one of the traditional fencing
weapons), Provost at Arms (9 units + exam demonstrating facility with
all of the traditional fencing weapons), and Master at Arms (12 units
+ exam demonstrating mastery of all the traditional fencing weapons).
